DYNAMIC LAYERS
Layers are the key element of the app that enables all other features. Our awesome online motion editing tool, “The Create Tool”, makes it easy for you to animate a little or a lot.
TIMING
The timed presentation of everything from speech bubbles, to image object movements, to scene changes… creates a new dimension to a story that’s not possible with regular digital comics.
LIVE TEXT
Our advanced state-of-the-art Text Engine generates speech balloons and text. It uses “live” type so you can edit your story as much as you like… and you can have as much dialogue as you wish.
ZOOMING
Another cinematic tool used to focus on a specific area of a page by zooming in or used to slowly reveal a scene by zooming out.
PANNING
Panning oversized background images that extend well beyond the edge of the frame, creates an immersive world beyond the screen.
MOVEMENT
Single or multiple layers can be moved at different speeds, directions, combined with a zoom action or even rotated.
SCENE TRANSITIONS
Cinematic transitions from scene to scene is a storytelling tool in itself. Whether it’s a slow fade, a quick cut, or a cross fade, this feature allows for pacing and flow.
BACKGROUND PARALLAX
The page takes on 3D qualities when the background, mid-ground and foreground pans or zooms at different speeds.
LOOPING EFFECTS
The app can infinitely loop images to create actions like a flickering flame or pouring rain. An incredibly useful tool for creating atmosphere.
INSPECT BUTTON/ SPLASH PAGES
Splash pages are oversized and extend beyond the screen edges. If you like to examine the art free of text, tapping the “inspect” button will release you from the timeline and you can scroll, pinch and zoom.
